Bookshops, Local & National
Birch Brook Press publishes good-reading, good-looking books on a variety of popular and literary subject matter, such as baseball, flyfishing, the arts, outdoors, and classic as well as contemporary fiction and poetry.  We provide good discounts to independent retail shops and as well as to national outlets throughout the United States. Because of the challenges book retailers face in serving the public today, we supply carefully packed books to shops in a timely manner so that time is not lost and cost is not increased.  This becomes especially important, of course, when a shop is hosting a reading/signing or other event.  In the case of many titles, we can provide promotion items, such as copies of reviews, bookmarks, and covers of books for windows.  Below you will find many ways to contact Birch Brook Press.  We look forward to discussing the needs of your customers as well as upcoming events.

Where is Birch Brook Press?
Birch Brook Press is located outside Delhi, in upstate New York. Though Delhi is a college town and capital of Delaware County, it is a small village tucked into the foothills of the northern Catskill Mountains. BBP's printing and typesetting facility is housed in a sizeable renovated building filled with antique book production equipment and an abiding love for good books of literary and popular culture interest.

BBP's Book Trade Affiliations
Birch Brook Press is a member of the Academy of American Poets, NYC; the Center for Independent Publishers, NYC; Publishers Marketing Association, Manhattan Beach, CA, and the American Typecasters Fellowship, Terra Alta, WV. In 1998 BBP acquired Persephone Press, a poetry chapbook publisher formerly of Whispering Pines, NC. Annually BBP designs, typesets and prints a Letterpress edition of the winning manuscript for the Mary Belle Campbell Book Publication Award, which is administered by the North Carolina Writers' Network.
